25 Students of The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unsoed received Scholarships from PT Charoen Pokphand, Indonesia

[unsoed.ac.id., Thur, 20/07/23] PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia through the Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia (CPFI) distributed educational scholarships to 25 students of the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unsoed. A symbolic handover of the scholarship was given by the Area General Manager, PT Charoen Pokphand Indoneia. The activity took place in Meeting Room 1, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unsoed on Tuesday (11/7).

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandy attended the event, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, and 25 students who received the educational scholarships from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia. Meanwhile, GM Hatchery, PGA (Personnel and General Affairs of Central Java), PGA Hatchery Unit, dan Personnel Staff attended the event as the representatives from CPFI.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Prof. Dr. Triana Setyawardani, S.Pt., M.P. expressed her gratitude to PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia who has been one of the best industry partners who always gives support in increasing the potential and competence of the students of Animal Husbandry Faculty, Unsoed.

“The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unsoed has collaborated through the field of alumni recruitment to the existence of closed house grants in the Teaching and Experiemental Farm area of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry as a medium for learning modern cage systems. In addition, PT CPI also gave back the Mess closed house which was inaugurated on December 7 2022 and this is the first mess at a university in Indonesia,” the Dean explained.

The Dean added, PT CPI is a part of the industry that plays a role by providing opportunities for students to develop their knowledge through internships and various other development programs. “Thank you for the educational scholarship assistance given to our students at Unsoed. Hopefully the collaboration between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unsoed and Charoen Pokphand Indonesia will continue through various programs which will certainly have an impact in improving the quality of human resources,” said the Dean.

The Area General Manager of PT CPI, Deden Al Muchtarom Hidayat, said that all participants who received sholarships had gone through a series of selection stages to get the best students. Recipients in this year have also increased, from 20 students receiving scholarships in 2022 now it has increased to 25 students receiving scholarships from PT CPI.

“Later on, those who receive this scholarship can join us in the company, I thank the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unsoed who is very open to forming partnerships. We hope that the students who received the scholarships assistance can maintain their achievements until they finish their study and become proud graduates,” Deden explained.

Meanwhile, messages and impressions was also delivered by Rilan Elang Servanda, a student of class 2020  who represented 24 other students receiving CPI scholarships. On that occasion, Elang expressed his gratitude to PT Charoen Pokphan Indonesia who has contributed in developing the competence of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry students, Unsoed by providing scholarships.
