LPPM UNSOED Holds Patent Drafting Clinic

[unsoed.ac.id, Thu, 30/09/21] The Center for Intellectual Property and Product Certificates, LPPM Unsoed, holds a Patent Drafting clinic, Tuesday (28/9). The 2nd patent drafting clinic in 2021 was attended by inventors from the Universitas Jenderal Soedirman community.

This activity was opened by the Chairman of LPPM Unsoed, Prof. Dr. Rifda Naufalin. In his speech, he stated that there are about 20 patent drafts that are ready to be reviewed, and this patent drafting activity will speed up the process of patent registration performance. Prof. Rifda also expressed his gratitude because this activity helped to achieve IKU from the level of study programs to universities.

The presentation of the material was delivered by the Head of the LPPM Unsoed HKI Center, Prof. Dr. Eng. Retno Supriyanti; which was continued by the speaker from DJKI Kemenkumham RI, Mrs. Dieska Hirgayasha, S.Si., who is one of the patent examiners at DJKI. The material presented is about the principles of Intellectual Property Rights in general and the Technique for Compiling a Patent Application. Then proceed with discussion and patent drafting.
