A Student of the Faculty of Economics and Business passed the ICA Internship Program, Brussels, Belgium

[Unsoed.ac.id, 8 January 2020] A student of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Unsoed has successfully passed the selection to take part in the Website and Data Internship Program internship program organized by the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) based in Brussels, Belgium. Farzuqna Risfa Amanda, the student of the Economic Development Studies (IESP) FEB Unsoed successfully passed the selection after following various stages. Not only passing the apprenticeship selection, it turns out that after participating in the interview selection Amanda was immediately offered to extend the internship from 3 months to 1 year and received a reward to Seoul to attend the International Congress at the end of this year.

Amanda, the student of academic year of 2017, said that she did not expect to pass the selection. “At first, I applied because campus activities were not too crowded. I want to develop my abilities, and it turns out that I passed the first stage and the following stages,” she said. Amanda said that her every selection stage was full of challenges, especially during the interview selection. “The selection process itself is very challenging because the interviewees are also native speakers, so I felt surprised when I passed the first interview. After that, I received notification via email that I had to go through the final interview,” she said. Passing the last interview, Amanda will make the best of her internship opportunity at this international organization.

The internship activity will be carried out online through the Zoom meeting platform and Skype. “The training is currently ongoing,” she said. Through this program, Amanda hopes to increase her capacity. With the internship contract extended from 3 months to 1 year, and she will have the opportunity to attend the congress at the end of the year. “Of course, I am very happy and will make the best of this opportunity,” she said. She also hopes that in the future, more Unsoed students will gain experience abroad and become more competitive graduates. (AD)
