Tourism Lecture in Old Town Banyumas by International Relations, Unsoed

[unsoed.ac.id., Fri, 02/06/23] Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) held a tourism lecture by holding an edutour in Old Town Banyumas, on Wednesday (31/5). The program of Edutourism this time was held under the guidance of Muhamad Yamin, S.IP., M.Si, a lecturer of the tourism subject.

The lecture was attended by more than 20 students of International Relations. The visit, which was carried out by the International Relations group, was welcomed directly by the Head of the Banyumas Sub-District, Oka Yudhistira, S.STP., M.Sc. In addition to giving a speech, the Head of the Sub-District also had the opportunity to explain a little about the history of Old Town Banyumas.

Furthermore, the sub-district head also invited the group to stroll around the Old Town Banyumas, such as visiting the Lengger House, Sumur Mas, and a park which is open to the public. Each place has its own historical value so that each student gained new historical knowledge about Old Town Banyumas. Therefore, this educational trip provided a new learning experience for students to understand the historical values of Banyumas while increasing knowledge, especially in the topic of tourism.
