UNSOED Lecturer Wins 2nd Place in the Article Writing Competition of the Directorate General of Higher Education

[unsoed.ac.id, Mon,07/06/21] One of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman lecturers successfully won 2nd place in the Article Writing Competition for Lecturers held by the Directorate General of Higher Education in commemoration of the 2021 National Education Day. Dr. Wisnu Widjanarko, M.Sc., MIPR., CPR., the lecturer of UNSOED Communication Studies won 2nd place in the competition with the theme “Implementation of the Independent Campus for the Advancement of Education and National Economic Awakening.” Dr. Wisnu revealed that his participation in this competition was driven by his interest in expressing ideas about MBKM at the moment of National Education Day.

In this competition, Dr. Wisnu wrote an article entitled "Establishing the Ecosystem of the Independent Campus as a Way to Win Indonesia's Future". This paper is motivated by the hope to see from the dimensions of how to ground MBKM. "Because this is something new, of course there is one side that is interesting, visionary, but if it is not communicated properly, it can be misperceived and will not resonate at campus," he explained.

For this achievement, Dr. Wisnu thanked the Directorate General of Higher Education for the opportunity for this competition. "Of course, thanks to UNSOED for providing valuable experiences on communication and public relations at campus," he explained. The Expert Staff of the Rector for Public Relations hopes to contribute in promoting MBKM at campus. (NY)
