UNSOED Received a Visit from University of Newcastle

[unsoed.ac.id, Tue, 27/06/23] Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) received an academic visit from the University of Newcastle, Australia, on Monday (26/6). The delegation from the University of Newcastle was led by Prof. Karen Elizabeth Mate Associate, and Prof. David Andrew N, joined with 17 of his students.

The visit started at the Faculty of Medicine, Unsoed which was filled with academic discussion and also a visit to the laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine. On this occasion, a presentation on research activities was delivered in the Faculty of Medicine (including oncology and biomedical research). The activity continued with a visit to the Faculty of Health Sciences, Unsoed. At the Faculty of Health Science, the delegation from the University of Newcastle also had the opportunity to tour the laboratory owned by the Faculty of Health Sciences. The profile of Faculty of Health Science as well as discussion was also presented.

At the end of the visit, the delegation from the University of Newcastle had the opportunity to visit Unsoed rectorate. Prof. Karen Elizabeth Mate Associate, and Prof. David Andrew N, were received directly by the Rector of Unsoed, Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Sodiq, M.Sc., Agr., IPU and the staff. Meanwhile 17 students from the University of Newcastle met with the students organization association of Unsoed, Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Health Science.
