UNSOED Successfully Holds a Table Tennis Competition Inter Institutions

[unsoed.ac.id, 29/08/2] Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) held a Table Tennis match between institutions throughout Banyumas Regency. The match which took place on 27 – 28 August 2022 at the Graha Widyatama Auditorium Prof.Rubijanto Misman was held in the context of the 59th Anniversary of Unsoed.

The event was opened by the Unsoed Chancellor Prof.Dr.Ir Akhmad Sodiq M.Sc.,Agr. In his speech, he said that sport is a multidimensional activity. It is not only for the purpose of achievement, but also recreational and has socio-cultural values. Sports can be a bond of togetherness, where everyone who is there, will feel a part and ultimately strengthen the brotherhood.

“This spirit is actually the spirit of the 2022 Rector Cup Table Tennis activity. This activity is supposed to be able to build and strengthen interactions between residents and communication between work units. It is very possible, anything that cannot be discussed formally, can actually be conveyed at times like this. In other words, this moment can once again be a means to stay in touch, so that we as residents of Unsoed are getting closer, making Unsoed a house that must always be guarded by us," said the Chancellor.

On behalf of the Chancellor personally and also the university leadership, he expressed his appreciation to the committee for the implementation of the 2022 Rector Cup Table Tennis activity whose spirit besides achievement is friendship,” concluded the Chancellor.

In the match entitled Rector Unsoed Cup 2022 with the theme "With the 59th Unsoed Anniversary and the Spirit of Gathering Between Agencies in Banyumas Regency, We Improve Table Tennis Achievements", the Unsoed Team won 1st place, the Education Service Team won 2nd place, and as The joint 3 winners are the Banyumas Police Team & the Margono Soekarjo Hospital Team.
