UNSOED & Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia Sign MoU
[unsoed.ac.id, Wed, 15/06/22] Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) and Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia (CPFI) carry out signing of the memorandum of understanding / Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Wednesday (15/6). The MoU which took place in the Ballroom on the 5th floor of the IAB UNSOED Building, was signed by the Chancellor of UNSOED Pof.Dr.Ir Akhmad Sodiq M.Sc.,Agr and the Chairperson of the Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia Dr. (HC) Tjiu Thomas Effendy, SE., MBA represented by the Secretary General of CPFI Andi Magdalena Siadari SH.,MH.
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to improve and develop the resource capacity of the parties in Education, Research, Community Service and Business Development. The scope includes Education; Study; Community service; Business development; and other agreed fields.
Secretary General of CPFI Andi Magdalena Siadari SH.,MH in his speech said that this is an extension of the MoU that was signed in 2017. “Since the signing has intensified, we from CPFI have kept in touch and worked with UNSOED. For example with the close house, where this close house is not only a matter of pride for us, but we are also very happy with the existence of this close house in UNSOED. Until this year, UNSOED students are still the most of the employees accepted at Charoen Pokphand," he said.
Furthermore, it was also conveyed that it was also not closed for other collaborations, such as internships, public lectures and others. "We want UNSOED Faculty of Animal Husbandry students to feel that Charoen Pokphand is their brother," he said.
UNSOED Chancellor Pof. Dr. Ir Akhmad Sodiq M.Sc.,Agr in his speech expressed his gratitude for his presence at UNSOED in order to extend the memorandum of understanding. In Higher Education there are several targets that must be submitted, including graduates of less than six months who must be absorbed in the job market (industry / related institutions), there are also entrepreneurial efforts, and some are also required to continue their studies. "Hopefully this joint effort regarding this matter will be easily fulfilled," said the Chancellor. Ending his remarks, the Chancellor thanked us for joining us in advancing the world of animal husbandry and the world of education at UNSOED.
