Unsoed Delegation Represents Indonesia at the IYS 2023 International Youth Conference in Türkiye.

[unsoed.ac.id., 13/02/23] Achievement at the international level was once again presented by FEB and FABIO students of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. This time, at the 2023 Istanbul Youth Summit, the FEB and FABIO delegations were successfully selected to participate in the International Youth Conference in Türkiye. They are Muhammad Abrar Rafi (Department of Accounting class 2020), and Haris Raditya Subandrio (Department of International Biology class 2019).

IYS 2023 took place in Istanbul, Türkiye on 6-9 February 2023. This event was attended by more than 20 countries. The IYS was organized by the YBB (Youth Break the Boundaries) foundation and brought participants from many countries including Malaysia, Türkiye, Tunisia, India, Yemen, and Uzbekistan.

Muhammad Abrar Rafi explained that this international event discussed the issue of SDGs and each participant was divided into several groups and then offered solutions to problems from the chosen theme to be presented in front of the jury. "In this event, the participants would do presentation in English," he said.

Haris Raditya Subandrio added that the international youth conference took place in an extraordinary way because it was attended by great speakers from various countries such as lectures from Durham University, the UK, researchers from Pakistan, Germany, and so on. 'Then, at the end of the event, an award will be given to the delegates who can get the best result such as best delegate, best presenter, best project, and the most active group," he concluded.
