Internship Export Training Program (IETP) FEB: Triumphant in Exhibition
[unsoed.ac.id, Thursday, 07/12/23] Internship Export Training Program (IETP) is one of the PKKM programs of the independent campus competition program, one of the grantees of which is the S1 management study program. FEB implemented two PKM programs, namely Bumdes internship and entrepreneurship internship.
Dr. Dian Purnomo Jati as the Team Leader of the MBKM Program PKKM Management Study Program explained the provisions obtained by the students who participated in this IETP. "The MBKM entrepreneurship program gets 30 students to develop their products then we provide knowledge about marketing aspects including digital marketing, legal aspects, namely individual Limited Liability Company ownership, NPWP, and business identification numbers, then one of the businesses is chosen, namely Mas Ahsan's to send to participate in the Expo in Taiwan," said Dian.
Two Unsoed students majoring in Development Economics, Faculty of Business Economics, Maulana Akhsan (C1A020017) and Faza Bahrul Ilmi (C1L020041) from PT Agroland Karya Utama to participate in the exhibition: "The 11th China (Mianyang) Science & Technology City International High-Tech Expo" on November 22-26, 2023 at the Mianyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, People's Government of Sichuan Province.
The exhibition area reached 4000 square meters, and involved more than 300 participating companies and more than 3000 exhibition booths. Ahsan and his team made several preparations for the exhibition.
"Previously, we attended training held by the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Free Trade Agreement Center Semarang, and the Office of Industry and Trade of Central Java Province," said Ahsan.
Ahsan felt very lucky to be able to represent PT Agroland Karya Utama as well as an ambassador from the Faculty of Economics Unsoed to take part in the international arena. "We get a very broad relationship, especially from fellow business people to the heads of companies and new knowledge during activities and have the opportunity to establish new cooperation with both companies and government," he said.
Faza added that the motivation for participating in the exhibition activities included wanting to improve product quality through the knowledge we gained and also wanting to make coconut and areca nut the main commodity with high economic value so that it can prosper farmers and the surrounding community.
Language barriers were experienced by Ahsan and Faza because Mandarin is quite difficult to understand. And many local people who do not understand English.
Ahsan hopes that IETP can continue so that the benefits of this program can be felt by more students.
