UNSOED And UNSIL Establish Cooperation

[unsoed.ac.id, Sat, 04/09/21] Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED), collaborated with Siliwangi University (UNSIL), Friday (03/ 9). The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by UNSOED Rector Prof. Dr. Ir Suwarto MS, and UNSIL Rector Prof. Dr. H. Rudi Priyadi, MS which was held in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the UNSIL Tasikmalaya Rectorate building.

The event was attended by the ranks of UNSIL leaders, namely the vice Rectors, the Heads of Bureau and all deans in the UNSIL environment. Meanwhile, UNSOED was also presented by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation & Public Relations / WR IV, the Head of the PKIH Bureau, and the Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations.

In his remarks, the Rector of UNSOED Prof.Dr.Ir. Suwarto MS expressed his gratitude for the good reception of UNSOED's presence by the leaders of UNSIL. The Rector hopes that this MoU will be followed up with a Cooperation Agreement / PKS. Furthermore , the Rector said that UNSOED provided an opportunity for UNSIL teaching staff who wanted to continue their studies at UNSOED in addition to the rector's desire to hold a Real Work Lecture (KKN) with UNSOED and UNSIL. "This cooperation is expected to provide mutual exchange and transfer of knowledge for the sake of mutual interest and progress, so that many benefits can be obtained by each party," concluded the Rector.

UNSIL Rector Prof. Dr. H. Rudi Priyadi, MS said that this memorandum of understanding is an extension of the MoU text 5 years ago. UNSIL has adopted many academic activities from UNSOED. The collaboration with Unsoed has actually been going on for quite a long time, since 1998. “The exchange of students and lecturers can be followed up immediately after the signing of this MoU. Cooperation will continue to grow and develop in the future and can provide benefits for both institutions,” said Prof. Rudi
