Unsoed English Literature Program Has a Thematic Community Service Program in Tambaknegara Village

[unsoed.ac.id., Thurs, 11/05/23] English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman manages a Thematic Community Service Program  in Tambaknegara Village, Banyumas Regency. The program which is attended by 30 students is one one the Independent Learning Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka - MBKM) programs initiated by the English Literature Study Program.

The Coordinator of Unsoed English Literature Study Program as well as the Community Service Program coordinator, Dyah Rayna Purwaningsih, S.Hum., M.A., said that this KKN activity lasted from February until June 2023. Students were divided into six groups and guided by six field supervisor. This thematic community service program has the main theme of  “Optimizing Tambaknegara Village to become a tourist village through promotion on social media.”

Dyah added that this program is expected to help realize the vision and mission of the village which is the location of the community service activities. “Besides that, this program is also expected to be a media for students to apply their knowledge in society and an opportunity for students to learn in society,” she said.
