Unsoed & Princess of Naradhiwas University Thailand StrengthenTheir Partnership

[unsoed.ac.id, Sel, 18/07/23] Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) Purwokerto Indonesia and Princess of Naradhiwas University (PNU) Thailand strengthen their partnership. This was marked by the signing of an agreement that reinforced student exchange, lecturer exchange, and research cooperation. The event took place on Monday (17/7), at the President Building of PNU, Narathiwat, Thailand.

The partnership is intended to expand collaboration between the two universities and advance education and research in relevant fields. The Unsoed delegation led by Dr Sos. Waluyo Handoko, S.IP., M.Sc. (Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Public Relations); Dr. Erwin R Ardli, (Head of the International Relation Office); and Prof. Dr. Amin Fatoni, (Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), were welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha S. Ardli. Prof. Dr. Preecha Salaemae, President (Rector) of Princess of Naradhiwas University, several Deans, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Unsoed Vice-Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Public Relations Dr. Sos. Waluyo Handoko, S.IP., M.Sc., remarked that he was grateful for the warm welcome given by Princess of Naradhiwas University. "We believe that this collaboration will open the door for new opportunities in academic and research development at both universities," he said.

Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr Preecha Salaemae, President of Princess of Naradhiwas University, said he was proud to establish a partnership with Unsoed. Student exchange and lecturer exchange will serve as a bridge for cultural understanding and knowledge enhancement between the two countries. "We hope this partnership will result in a sustainable and mutually beneficial collaboration," he explained.

The MoU signing ceremony was also attended by several university deans and vice presidents, demonstrating the strong commitment of both institutions in developing the quality of education and research. In the future, this collaboration is expected to enhance the international reputation and academic excellence of both universities.
